Growing up I always had three favorite sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, Italian beefs, and Philly cheesesteaks. I know, cheesesteak sandwiches are not the healthiest, but they are so delicious, easy to make, and full of so much flavor; which makes it hard to resist. There were nights when I would go to the restaurants that stay open until 2am, just to get a Philly cheesesteak. Of course, I had to learn to make it myself, so I can add it to my book of recipes. When I first started making my cheesesteak sandwiches, I could never finish the whole sandwich, no matter how bad I wanted to; so thats why I started making them mini cheesesteak sandwiches. Whether I am serving my mini cheesesteak sandwiches for lunch or dinner, I always pair it with some crispy fries and some ketchup or mild sauce on the side. Not only are my mini cheesesteak sandwiches quick to make, it doesn't require a lot of ingredients. So if you never had a cheesesteak sandwich, consider making my mini cheesesteak sandwiches; it will be a taste you'll never forget!

Ari's Mini Cheesesteaks
Ingredients: (Makes 6 mini cheesesteak sandwiches)
1 pack of Pre cut steak strips (if your pre cut steak strips are thick, you can cut them again if you want thinner steak strips)
Sliced Onions (1/2 of Onion)
Sliced Green Bell Peppers (1 whole green pepper)
Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Soft sub rolls
Mayo
Natures seasoning
Creole seasoning
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Kinders "The Blend" seasoning
Sazon
Black pepper
Butter
1/2 Tbsp of minced garlic
Directions:
After cleaning your steak strips, place them into a mixing bowl
Next, season your steak strips with natures seasoning, creole seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, kinders "the blend" seasoning, sazon, black pepper to your liking and mix well; then put the bowl to the side
Then melt 1 Tbsp of butter in your skillet on medium high heat
Once your butter is melted, add your minced garlic and stir
Now add your seasoned steak strips (you may have to add a little bit of water in the skillet to cook your meat)
Once your steak strips are almost fully cooked add your sliced onions and sliced green bell peppers and stir to blend altogether
Cook until veggies are firm but tender
Now that the veggies are tender and steak strips are fully cooked, turn off the stovetop and sprinkle a layer of your shredded mozzarella cheese until your veggies and steak strips are completely covered with cheese
Then cover your skillet so the cheese can melt from the heat of steak strips and veggies
While you are letting your cheese melt, this is the time you want to prep your soft sub rolls
Cut your soft sub rolls in half (if you purchased 1/2 sized rolls skip this step)
Turn your soft sub rolls on the side and slice it on one side, that way the other side is still intact (if you purchased sub rolls that are pre cut you can skip this step)
In a separate skillet melt 1 Tbsp of butter on medium high
Once your butter is melted, open your soft sub rolls and place the inside of the soft sub rolls face downed in the skillet for about 30 - 45 seconds; we just want to toast the inside of the soft sub rolls (continue this step until all of your soft sub rolls are toasted; you may have to add more butter in your skillet during this step)
Next, spread mayo on the inside of your toasted soft sub rolls
Then add your cheesesteak mixture inside your soft sub rolls
Repeat these steps until all of your mini cheesesteak sandwiches are made
You can eat your mini cheesesteak sandwiches with fries, tater tots, or individually
Enjoy!!
